Stainless Steel Couplings

Fittings DIN 2993

The tube fittings of Schwer Fittings are produced in its own manufacturing facilities. The exchangeable tube fittings according to DIN 2993 are available in many sizes and types of threads in straight and in 90 ° execution from stock.

Stainless Steel Pipe Connection Technology and Fittings

37° JIC Flare Fittings

37° Flare Fittings

The use of stainless steel flare fittings can be found in areas with excessive vibration, high pressure peaks and high mechanical loads. Flared fittings guarantee a high level of security in the pipe system.

The 3-part connector consists of fitting body, nut and support sleeve. It connects and seals the under 37° flared tube. The sealing and holding function for flared pipe is purely metallic.

Design features:

The dimensions of the 37° - Flared fittings are based on the ISO 8434-2 and SAE standards. The coupling body can be used depending on the choice of the support sleeve for metric and imperial tubing.

Benefits:

  • Reliable tube retention by 37° cone
  • Only one separation between nozzle and pipe
  • High rip out protection by interlocking construction
  • Space-saving, no pipe ends
  • Metallic sealing point, so medium and temperature not a factor
Flare fittings

To connect a below 37° flared tube to a 24° - Inner cone, we use flared ring BV-202nd This has the corresponding cones of pipe and tube and has O-rings on both sides, so that both the tube with the 37° -flare and the connecting piece with its 24° -lnner cone can be imputed elastomeric and thus a good seal is formed. The union nut has a metric thread and can be screwed onto the normally provided for cutting ring connections threaded connector. The pipe must be crimped as in ISO 8434-2, Table 5, provided that the O-ring of the flared ring is completely covered by the flaring.
